Auf Grund der Faszination bezüglich der Entwicklung und dem Stellenwert der Keramik in der Geschichte der Menschheit versuche ich Verbindungslinien herzustellen, die das Archaische aufgreifen, aber in ihrer endgültigen Ausformung zeitgenössisch sind.
Meine Arbeit ist auch eine Auseinandersetzung mit Kommunikation = Sprache, Schrift, Zeichensetzungen.
In den neusten Arbeiten kommt hinzu : dem Material Leichtigkeit und Transparenz zu geben = Gegenüberstellung von kompakter, massiver Form mit Fast- Entmaterialisierung und Schwerelosigkeit.

On the basis of a fascination with the development and the status of ceramics in human history, I try to create liines of connection which pick up on the archaic, but which are contemporary in their final form.
My work is also a discussion of communication = language, script, punctuation.
In the most recent works, I have added: bringing light and tranparency into the material = a confrontation of compact, massive form with an almost-dematerialised weightlessness.
